Olive Moody Obituary

In loving memory of Olive Irene Moody of Tacoma, Washington who passed away in Tacoma, WA on April 4, 2020. She was born on July 26, 1921 in Melbourne Australia to Phillip and Vera Batt.

Olive met the love of her life, Lloyd Moody, in 1942 while he was on R & R in Melbourne Australia. Following WWII she came to America and married Lloyd on 23 November 1946. Until his death in 1969, she lived in Coon Rapids, MN. In 1984 she moved to Puyallup WA. Her greatest joy in life was family; her three children and two grandchildren. She loved and cherished them. She spent her life studying the Bible and serving the Lord through teaching children and young adults and through her many artistic talents. Her knitting needles were never still.

She is survived by her children- Neville Moody (wife JoAnne) , Rhonda Marsh (husband Steve Hawksford) and Peter Moody (wife Karen). Grandchildren: Kelly Marsh and Peter Marsh.
