Beverly Mae Vesey

Beverly Mae Vesey was born on April 26, 1938, in Elma, Washington, to Beatrice and Jesse Jones. She was the oldest sister to Rebecca and Celia. Beverly passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

Beverly graduated from Puyallup High School in 1956 and married her high school sweetheart, Dan Vesey, on June 7, 1958. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and community as they raised their three sons: Gregory, Timothy, and Todd. Beverly's dedication to her boys was exceptional. Whether it was driving them to practices, sporting events, or pursuing their many interests, she was always there to encourage and support them.

While raising her family, Beverly worked during the Washington State Fair at Hobby Hall. She also volunteered as a Daffodil Princess chaperone and was a devoted member of All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup. She served for many years as a Eucharistic Minister and worked alongside Dan in decorating and designing the church for the liturgical seasons.

After their youngest son graduated from Puyallup High School, Beverly accepted a position as the school's attendance secretary in 1984. She faithfully served the Puyallup School District for 37 1⁄2 years, retiring in 2021 at the remarkable age of 83. Although she received numerous awards and honors during her career, her greatest joy came from building lasting relationships with students and staff.

Above all, Beverly cherished her family. She is survived by her youngest sister, Celia Jones; her sons, Gregory (Terri), Timothy (Kayte), and Todd (Kim); her grandchildren, Danielle (Garrett) Wester, Darrel (Ashley) Vesey, Kiah (Mike) Geleynse, Teyah Ruggieri-Vesey, Makiyah (Arkadiy) Lutsuk, Lianah Ruggieri-Vesey (Cris Renteria), Jenah Ruggieri-Vesey, Samayah Ruggieri-Perez (Thomas Perez), Taylor (Kyle) Lindbo, and Logan (Jessica) Vesey; nine great- grandchildren; and many beloved "furry" grandchildren.

Beverly gave generously of her heart to her family, friends, church, school, and community. Her kindness, unwavering support, impeccable style, and joyful spirit touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Beverly's life will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception immediately following. Interment at Woodbine Cemetery will take place at a later date.
