Claudia A Shimko

Claudia (Lange) Shimko, 82, of Puyallup, Washington, peacefully passed away on September 6, 2024.  She was born on October 6, 1941 to parents Virgil and Rita Lange in Cottonwood, Idaho.  She had four siblings.  Claudia graduated from Lincoln High School in 1959 and immediately went to work for Pacific Northwest Bell, where she worked for 32 years.  She married her sweetheart, Sam, on May 29, 1969, and they had two children.  Claudia was known for her generosity, kindness, unwavering positivity, and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her warm smile and gentle spirit.  Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Claudia is survived by her husband, Samuel Shimko Jr.; her daughter Dana Warren (Howard), son Jeffrey Shimko (Jeannette), and step-daughter Heidi Hoadley (David); grandchildren Rustin, Kolby, and Bailey Warren, Vaughn Shimko, Cameron and Lynsee Hoadley; as well as great-granddaughters Evelyn and Leila.

There will be a Celebration of Life for friends and family of Claudia in the new year.
