June Louise Kuzminsky, 94, of Puyallup, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026. Born on June 13, 1931, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was a daughter of George and Norma Beck having only one younger sister, Joyce. June was raised in Steelton, Pennsylvania, she was a graduate of Steelton High School class of 1949. After graduating, June briefly worked for Sears before enlisting in the Air Force. It was here she met and married Steve Kuzminsky in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Upon getting married, she left the Air Force, took on the role of housewife, and over the years became the mother of five boys. She used to always say she couldn’t believe she had all boys because she didn’t know anything about boys. Once the children had grown, June decided to go back to work as a payroll clerk on the base. She enjoyed her work very much and made many friends. Upon retirement, she and Steve enjoyed taking road trips to Canada with their dog, Pepper. Upon Steve’s passing in 1996, she became more involved in the church she attended, and joined several groups including a garden club, travel club, red hat club, and a local chorale group. Throughout her life, June also pursued interests in poetry, attending plays, learning to paint, knit, crochet, and making flower arrangements. She was particularly successful in entering flower arrangement competitions at the Western Washington Fair where she won numerous blue ribbons and best in show awards. Surviving are her sons: George (Sharon) of Electric City, WA; Larry of San Diego, CA; Jerry (Caryn) of Kailua Kona, Hawaii and Robert (Lori) of Puyallup, WA. June is also survived by 7 grandchildren Troy (Crystal); Scott (Erika); Steven; Charlotte; Jack (Alex); Wesley (Maleah) and Jackson as well as 3 great grandchildren (Summer, Cash and Amelia). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve, her son, Steve Jr., her sister, Joyce Seeley, and daughter-in-law, Anne.
