Kateri Ramona Otani

Kateri, age 97 of Tacoma, Washington went to heaven peacefully surrounded by family on December 28, 2023. Her life was devoted to her faith, Kateri Circle, church family and family. Kateri was both Irish and Yakama Indian, she legally changed her name to Kateri to honor her Native American heritage.

She had 11 children; Patrick, William, Kathy, Judith, Jacqueline, Anthony, Carol, Mary, Patti, John and baby.  She was preceded in death by husband William, sons Patrick and John and baby. She leaves behind 52 grandchildren (including both great and great-great).

She had a positive influence on everyone who knew her. Her life showed that faith can carry you through the hardest challenges.

Also known as Kitty and gg, she is remembered as a fun grandma with a sense of humor.
