Larry Fugle, at age 86 passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, in Puyallup WA.
Larry graduated from Estacada Union High School in 1956 and married his high school sweetheart, Jacqueline Bennett in 1957. They remained together until her passing in 2024, after 66 years of marriage.
His early career he worked for Cable Construction Company as a lineman, foreman and the district manager of the southern district. He went to work for Potelco in 1969, got his teaching certificate from the state of WA and OR to instruct electrical apprentices. In 1976, he went to work for Puget Sound Power and Light where he retired from in 1990.
Larry had his commercial pilots license and enjoyed many hours up in the clouds. He flew the student prince (a biplane)in numerous air shows as the red baron. He was a member of the civil air patrol based out of Thunder Field. He was an active member of the Rainer antique tractor club because of his love of old tractors; he had quite the collection.
Larry is survived by his 2 adult children, 2 adult grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Agnes Fugle, wife Jackie, and sister Patricia Fox, as well as extended family and many, many friends, who will miss his humor, generosity, and all-around knowledge.
A celebration of life open house will be held on September 20, 2026, from noon till 4:00pm. He did always love a good party.
