Macario Melvin “Josi” Sugue, born on June 29, 1945 in Ewa, Hawaii passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on, December 14, 2025, in Sumner, Washington. Mel is survived by his daughters: Kelly Jean (Sugue), Bruce Jean; Tracy Lentz (Sugue), John Lentz; and Melveen Guillen (Sugue), Eric Guillen. Mel has 11 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jan Sugue (Yoro).

Josi Mel Sugue is the Creator and Founder of the School of Tai Chi Chuan Fa Kungfu in Sumner, WA.
