Listen to Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Manfred Bahle, affectionately known to family and friends as Fred and Mane, on June 11, 2026, at the age of 79.

Fred passed away unexpectedly alongside his beloved French Bulldog, Frankie, his faithful companion and constant friend. Their passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved them.

Fred was a man of quiet strength, kindness, and warmth, with a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed spending time on the porch with a loyal companion by his side, walking the dogs in the park, enjoying the beauty of nature, and sharing stories and laughter with family and friends. These everyday moments brought him great joy.

Born on June 15, 1946, in Buehlerzell, Germany, Fred lived a life defined by dedication, resilience, and devotion to family. He proudly served in the Army and retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class (SGT First Class). His service and commitment reflected the same quiet dignity and strength that he carried throughout his life.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Rita Bahle; their French Bulldog, Daisy; and his four sisters, Sigrid Borland, Gudrun Michailides, Irmtraud Klinke, and Silvia Vollmer. He was preceded in death by his son, Gordon Bahle.

Fred will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, and the lasting impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though he is deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the many acts of kindness, love, and wisdom he shared throughout his life.

Forever loved, forever remembered.
