Sue Ann Diedrich

Sue Deidrich passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on June 1, 1945, Sue lived a full life rooted in family, work, and meaningful experiences.

Sue was married to her beloved husband Dick Diedrich for 35 years, and together they shared many years of partnership, family life, and shared adventures.

Sue worked as a hairstylist throughout her career, a profession that allowed her to connect with people and build lasting relationships. She and Dick were active members of the Puyallup Rock Club and enjoyed their retirement traveling to destinations such as Costa Rica and Ireland, as well as spending several months at a time in Quartzsite, Arizona. They especially valued time spent with family and cherished the friendships and memories made along the way.

Sue is survived by her husband, Dick Diedrich; her children, Dan (Lisa) Hayes, Cindy (Dave) Bailey, Mark Hayes, and Michael Mathews; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Marleen Longabaugh, Phyllis (Jerry) Piatti, and Margaret (Lonny) Fillo.

Sue will be remembered for her strength, perseverance, and the quiet impact she had on those around her. Her legacy continues through her family and the generations that follow.
