David William Paul Phillips

   David William Paul Phillips was born on December 4, 1960 and was the 2nd of 8 children born to Robert and Rita Phillips. He left behind Robert (Lola) Phillps, Jonathan (Julie) Phillips, Joseph (Robin) Phillips, Timothy (Jackie) Phillips, Kathleen (Keko) Martinez, Deborah Amaya, Ronald (Bella) Phillips, 2 daughters, Jenny (Matthew) Borba, Karyn Phillips and 2 grandchildren Payton Phillips, Miles Borba and his dear wife Jumoke. He was preceded in death by his father Robert; and his mother, Rita.  

  Dave loved a good debate and was well versed in politics. As long as I’ve been alive Dave has had a heart for Jesus. Even when he struggled, his desire for God was evident. Dave always tried to find the good in things around him. If you asked him how he was doing, the ready answer was, “Lovin Livin!” Dave found happiness in sharing the love of Christ with anyone that he could. Whether standing on the side of a road with a sign that read, “Can I pray with You?” or filling the pulpit in his local congregation in Everett, Wa. One of his favorite things to do was hop in the car and go for a drive. He loved God’s nature, exploring mountains, islands, or watching wildlife. He and Jumoke had just moved to Colorado Springs, Co. in the fall of 2020 and they both loved the area, the mountains and the abundance of wildlife. Dave left the shores of this world for his eternal home on August 2, 2021… Gone too soon.
