Deborah Kay Legitt

Deborah “Debbie” Kay Legitt, born June 14, 1953, passed away June 15, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Debbie is preceded in death by the love of her life, Lloyd Franklin Legitt, whom she married on July 17, 1972, and parents Lawrence and Norma Dahm.

Debbie was born and raised in Yakima, Washington before moving to Tacoma, Washington at the age of 12. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma in 1971 and graduated with a certificate of completion from Knapp Business College in 1990. Later in life, she worked as a paraeducator for Bethel School District and in customer service at Walmart before retiring.

Debbie is survived by her 4 children: Anthony Dahm, Jeffrey Legitt, Janice Brody, and Matthew Legitt (Christina); 5 grandchildren: Makenna Carlen, Connor Legitt, Kaitlyn Brody, Jolynn Legitt, and Anthony Row; siblings: Clifford Dahm, Carol Tremlett, Deanna Dahm, and Terri Dahm.

Viewing will be held June 29, 2022, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home 320 W. Pioneer Ave, Puyallup, Washington.

Graveside service will be held July 8, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 pm at Orting Cemetery 19600 Orting Kapowsin Hwy E, Orting, Washington.
