Donald Walter Gutz

Donald Walter Gutz, 73, died January 19, 2021 from complications from surgery.

Don was born in Osmond, NE on August 21, 1947 to Richard and Geneva( Arnold) Gutz whom proceeded him in death along with his brothers Leland Gutz and Steven Gutz. 

He is survived by his faithful and loving wife, Sharon(Hart) Gutz, his loving daughters Heather Blake (Michael) and Desiree Casey-Motley( Rev. David) and his grandchildren: Brittany(Blake) Lyons, Jacob Casey-Motley, Catherine Casey-Motley, Elizabeth Blake, and Charlotte Casey-Motley. He is also survived by his brothers Luther (Stella), Daniel Gutz, and his sister Susan Gutz-Fletcher (Jamie)along with many nieces and nephews,

Don graduated from Wayne State University in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in teaching. Don taught foreign language and English until his retirement in 2008. Don was an avid gardener, he enjoyed baking and canning his various fruits and vegetables that he grew in his garden. He also enjoyed reading and adding books to his library. His greatest joy, was spending time with his loving family. 

His funeral service will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Milton, Wa on January 23, 2021 at 1pm officiated by Rev. Sam Schuldheisz
