Doris Steimle Obituary

Doris "Dee" Ann Steimle passed away peacefully and painlessly with both of her sons by her bedside on February 06, 2020 in Tacoma WA. She was born on August 1, 1945 to Edward Clarence and Ruth Marie Stofiel in Portland Oregon. She grew up in Portland with her surviving brother John Frederick Stofiel (Paulette) and her sister Kay Marie Scott (Nephew Allen Bensen). Doris met the love of her life, George William Steimle who was in the USAF and they enjoyed 43 wonderful years together before his passing in 2011. She is survived by her sons Charles (Valerie) and John (Connie); 6 grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and both lifelong and new friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Parish Church, 509 3rd St SW, Puyallup, WA 98371. With a graveside service following at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042 at 1:15 PM.
