Edith Roberts Obituary

Edith Joan Roberts was born on 24th of February 1929 in Cambridge England. She had 5 sisters. In the picture is Edith, Norah, Thea, Grace, Betty and Mabel. During the war Edith entertained the troops with her hula dancing. Edith was married to welsh man Goronwy Roberts who is now deceased. In 1965 Edith and family immigrated to Prosperity S. C. There she owned 3 collies and worked with a veterinarian for many years because of her love for

animals. Around 2016 Edith moved to Puyallup. Washington to be with her family. Edith had many talents, sculpting, painting stones, eggs are just some of them. One of her paintings of two dogs on a beach with some palm trees is still displayed on the side of a shed in Prosperity S. C. In 2018 Edith went to live in an adult family home. On the 30th of September 2021 Edith passed away peacefully at the Samarinias Adult Family Home. She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Chinn.
