Emma Lindsey Obituary

Emma Irene (Arnbrister) Lindsey, 87, passed away peacefully on Sept 20, 2022, in Puyallup, WA.

Emma was born in Watsonville, CA in 1935 where she lived until she met and married Bob Lindsey in 1962. Then they moved to Puyallup, WA where Bob was from.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lindsey, her daughter, Collette Hart, her 3 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by her son, Rob Lindsey (Kathie), her grandchildren, Robyn Durham (Chris), Rory Lindsey, Bobby Lindsey, Bradley Hart, Nicolette Hart, Christopher Hart (Emily) and 5 great granddaughters, Alexandra, Elizabeth and Isabel, Averie and Charlie Emma Bea and her sister, Betty Grant and brother, Stan Arnbrister.

Emma was very involved with her children in being a Scout Leader and Swim Team Supporter. In 1980 she joined her husband in the Tacoma Motorcycle Club (TMC) where she was an active member and an avid participant in the events for many decades.

Emma loved farming, camping, charter fishing and clamming. She even went elk hunting with her husband once.

Over 30 yrs. she bowled and was a Pro Women’s Bowler traveling the states with her team members participating in Valley, State and National Tournaments winning many trophies and pins along the way.

Emma loved collecting tokens of her travels with Bob as they traveled around the country in their RV and were snowbirds in Arizona.

She was definitely a one-of-a-kind woman who will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
