Ida Eleanore Santi

Ida Eleanore Santi, 96, of Lakewood, Washington, formerly of Duluth, Minnesota, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in
Lakewood, Washington. She was born in Belden, North Dakota, in 1926, the daughter of Hjalmer and Lillian Niemi. Ida
married Richard J. Santi on November 3, 1946 in Floodwood, Minnesota, until his passing in 2013.

Ida worked as a civilian clerical worker for the military during World War II, in Dayton, Ohio. She also was employed at
the Duluth Laundry and St. Mary’s Hospital in the laundry department, both located in Duluth, Minnesota. Ida and her
husband, Richard, volunteered at St. Benedictine in Duluth, working with the elderly.

Ida is survived by sons, Gary (Sandra) Santi of DuPont, Washington, and Michael (Dana) Santi, of Puyallup, Washington;
daughter, Carol (Robert) Talarico of Moose Lake, Minnesota; four grandchildren, David Santi, Jeffrey (Alisa) Santi, Sonya
(Jason) Wennberg, and Dominic (Morgan) Talarico; and, five great grandchildren, Gavin, Preston, Dylan, Jaysa and Ryker.

The Family would like to thank Gladys and her staff at Jade Park Care Center in Lakewood, Washington, for providing
excellent care in a very compassionate manner.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to Noon, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, with a service to follow at Powers Funeral Home
in Puyallup, Washington, by Pastor Larry Cournoyer.
