James Karl Bruenn

James Karl Bruenn, 61, of Edgewood, Washington passed away on April 8, 2021, in Edgewood.

James was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Meeka and Henry Bruenn, on July 13, 1959. He went to school in Tacoma. He married Sharleen Engel on May 27, 1989 in Seattle and they had 5 children together.  He graduated from TCC and Central Washington University.  He worked as a machinist for Boeing for more than 30 years.  He loved his bike riding, working hard to take care of his family, working out on his farm and cracking a few jokes.  He, also, was a devout Catholic and loved God above all else.

James is preceded in death by his father, mother and older sister, Denise.

James is survived by his wife, 5 children, 6 siblings and 2 grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00, April 14, at Powers Funeral Home, in Puyallup.

Funeral Services will be held at ST Peter and Paul Parish, in Tacoma, 11:00, April 15, 2021 with Father Jacek and Father Peter, officiating.  Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
