Joseph Allan Lebert

Heaven is rejoicing and celebrating the return of Joseph Lebert.  Joe was born December 23, 1955 and passed on to eternity on April 26, 2021 after a brief illness.  Joe was born in Puyallup and grew up involved in Scouts, motorcycle riding and hunting.  Joe had a love for fast, classic cars which started at a young age.  He met the love of his life Althea and spent the next 43 years loving her.  Together, they had 3 children: Jessica (Amber), Sarah (Jonny), and Daniel (Brittany). Five grandchildren to round out the family along with many other family members. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Platt and Eva (Ellison) Lebert and his brother Paul Lebert.  Joe had a special gift and was able to make each person he met and befriended feel loved, important, and blessed to know him.  Joe was a Youth Pastor with the Nazarene Church and invested in many Teens.  He enjoyed traveling with the Teens to Youth Camp, Mission Trips and Conferences.  Joe also spent many years working in the construction industry in various capacities. He volunteered with a number of organizations and was able to bless them with both his gentle, loving spirit and craftsman skills. The world is richer for having known him.
