Kristie Louise Mankertz

Kristie Louise Mankertz, 66, of Puyallup Washington passed away peacefully on Thursday June 9, 2022.  Kristie was born on January 9, 1956 in Puyallup where she lived her entire life.  She attended All Saints Catholic School, Kallas Junior High School and graduated from Puyallup High School.  Through her adult life, Kristie worked at the Squeeze In Café, Goodwill but her favorite job was working at the Puyallup Fair each fall.  Going to the beach, listening to the Beatles and all oldies music were some of Kristie’s favorite hobbies and activities.  Kristie never married and was a terrific aunt to her nieces and nephew.

Daughter of Gus Mankertz Jr and Eileen Harper, Kristie is survived by her older brother Greg Mankertz of Graham, WA, younger sister Barbara Walz of Parkland WA, two nieces Ericka Lawrie & Corie McWain, one nephew Gregory Mankertz, two great-nieces Morgan and Maddie and five great-nephews Jace, Jameson, Garrett, Andrew and Isaiah.

A special Thank You to the Fieso and the entire staff of Puyallup Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for taking such great care of our sister Kristie.  Because of your love and compassion Kristie thought of you all as her second family.
