Larry Crivello Obituary

Larry Joseph Crivello passed away November 7, 2022, at age 64 after a 20 month battle with
pancreatic cancer. He was born on April 5, 1958, in Puyallup, Washington, where he was a long time
resident.
Larry is survived by his spouse Carol of 41 years, and his daughter Jamisan. He was the fifth of eight
children. He is survived by his brother James Crivello, and four sisters; Tina Adler (Dan), Susan
Mauss (Tim), Nancy Muscatell (Jim) and Tamara Crivello. Larry was preceded in death by his
parents, Thomas and Lois Crivello, and brothers Stephen and Ronald Crivello.
Larry enjoyed a happy childhood growing up in the Puyallup Valley. His family moved to the Summit
area, where Larry attended Ford Junior High, then graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in
1976. After high school, he attended Bates Technical College to learn the plumbing trade. Upon
completion of his training, Larry was hired at Tacoma Boat Building where he worked for 10 years.
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, was Larry’s next employer, but long commutes were not his favorite, so
he accepted a position as a facilities maintenance plumber at The Boeing Company where he worked
until retirement in 2018.
Larry was a very creative person, with a unique sense of humor. He loved nothing more than figuring
out how to make things work better. This showed in his work ethic as well as his home life. He
enjoyed helping others, remodeling homes, yard work, playing with his pups, game nights with
friends, eating good food and relaxing at the beach.
A service will be held on Friday, November 18 at 10:00am in the Power’s Funeral Home Chapel; 320
W Pioneer Ave, Puyallup, WA 98371, with a light luncheon to follow in the reception room. Close
family and friends are invited to attend the burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5212 S 70th St,
Tacoma, WA 98467 at 1:30pm.
The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. They’d also like to
thank the Hematology/Oncology department at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle for their excellent
care.
