Leonardo Bamberger Porras, Jr., born March 28, 1959 in IloIlo City, Philippines, went on to be with the Lord on June 1, 2021 at the age of 62. He served the United States Army and Federal Emergency Management Agency with a combined federal service of 23 years.
Known as Leo to his friends, and Rex amongst his family, he truly enjoyed his guns, great food, traveling, country music, cowboy movies, boating, wood working, the mountains, and helping others. Mostly, he is adored and loved by his family.
Leo was a loving husband survived by his wife of 42 years, Aileen, his son, Brandon, and daughters: Leonaleen and her husband Ben; Roxanne, her husband William, and their children Mekenzie, William (aka Turtle), Eleanor, Marissa, and Jasmine; and Kirstin, her husband Richard, and their son Richie. Leo is also survived by his parents Leonardo, Sr., and Millie; and his brother, Alex, and sisters Jean, Tina, and Grace, and numerous family members in the Philippines, and Canada.
Viewing will be on Monday, June 7, 2021, 1-4 PM at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup. Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 11 AM at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup. Burial with full Military Honors at Tahoma National Cemetery to be announced at a later date.
