Rose Ann Myers

Rose was born in Rockford, Illinois on May 20, 1942 to parents Thomas and Mary Henderson.  Rose passed away on March 7, 2021 at the age of 78 after a long battle with Parkinson’s.  Her siblings are Betty, Harry (Hannah), Mary (Ken), April and many nieces and nephews.  Rose was married to Delbert (deceased) for 55 years and had two children, Virginia (Jeff) and David (deceased) along with 2 grandchildren Seth and Emily.

Rose was a member of Eastern Star and enjoyed many hobby’s, but her favorite was sewing and could be found many days working on special projects for anyone that was in need or asked.  During her time at the Washington Soldiers Home Rose served on the resident council, formed a women’s group, polished and rehabilitated many of the antiques and greeted visitors and staff daily.

Rose and Delbert will be laid to rest together at Tahoma National cemetery.
